Where to?

'Where to?' Poster

The Where to? posters and leaflets are designed to help secondary students get ideas about career options that might follow on from the subjects they enjoy studying.

There is a poster and leaflet for 15 subjects or groups of subjects. Where subjects are grouped, students may need help to decide whether a job is relevant to the particular subject they enjoy or not.

The resource only shows a range of career options, not all possible options; and only provides a guide to the level of study, training or equivalent experience required to be fully qualified. The level indicated will not apply in all circumstances.

The resource is available in 3 different formats:

  • A2 colour posters, available individually or in sets of all 15 posters
  • A5 colour leaflets, available in packs of 50 per leaflet
  • A4 black-and-white worksheets, downloadable from the Subject Choices section of the Career Kete page of this website.

‘Where to?’ replaces the Options posters

The major changes are:

  • the subjects used are those in the Subject Matcher tool on the Career Services website. This makes it easier for students to move from one resource to another
  • the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) is used to indicate education level.
