Professional development for teachers
Te Kuiti High School - combining ICT and careers learning

- Te Kuiti High School combines ICT and inquiry learning with careers
Inquiry learning with junior school on a careers theme
Te Kuiti High School was trying to meet both the NAG of careers integration as well as focus on information and communication technologies (ICT) and information literacy, when it realised these elements could be combined.
The career programme for Years 9 and 10 takes place during term three, while senior students are sitting exams. This means more teachers are available to take part, and can help students make wise subject choices for the following year.
