Professional development for teachers

Between school and life - video presentation

This lecture was given in June 2009 by Dale Bailey, Career Services' implementation manager for career education, to a group of secondary school teacher trainees at the University of Auckland.

The lecture covers the latest thinking in education and educational issues in New Zealand and their impact on career education. Dale explains the relevant theories of career education, and how all teachers can engage their students in a careers conversation.

The original presentation was 53 minutes long and was provided courtesy of the University of Auckland. This has been edited into shorter, themed video clips.
