Decision-making quiz for young people

1. How did you choose your school subjects?

I picked the ones I knew I'd pass
I chose subjects I thought I'd enjoy
I took subjects I knew I needed for my future career
I took the subjects where I liked the teacher

2. If someone asks you what you want to do with your life, how do you answer?

No one ever asks me
I talk about whatever career ideas I'm tossing around at the time
I give them an exact rundown of my career plan
I tell them I have no idea

3. When you think of yourself five years down the track, what do you see?

I dont dare to dream as someone will be there to squash it
Hopefully I'll have found a job or finished a course I enjoy
I'll be settled into my dream job
I can't picture a future, I prefer to focus on now

4. If someone asked you about your job options, what would you say?

What options?
I know I've got a range of job options
I know exactly what job I'll be taking
There are just too many job options!

5. How open are you to other career ideas?

I'll take what I can get
I'd be keen to look at other ideas
I'm not looking at other ideas, as I already have an idea in mind
I dont need more ideas! I'm overwhelmed with choice as it is!

6. When it comes to deciding on a career, how will you do it?

I'm hoping something will sort itself out
I'll keep my options open
I've already decided so I just need to put the steps in place
I'll probably change my mind a dozen times
