Transcript: Interviews - Asking Questions of Your Own
Sarah McIndoe, career consultant:
At the end of an interview, most people will ask if you have any questions and it’s a good idea to have some prepared.
You could look on the Career Services website for questions to ask, such as “What would an average day be like?”, or “What do you think is the biggest challenge of this role?”
If they’ve already answered your questions, just say “I did have some but you answered them already - thanks”
Try to avoid asking about pay rates or holidays though – there’ll be time to find that out once they’ve decided you’re the right person for the job.did
