Whether you've just arrived in New Zealand or have been here for some time, we offer a range of free services to get you started on finding a job.
Career Services staff can help you to:
- understand how your experience and qualifications fit into the New Zealand setting
- find out about the industries and jobs in your area
- learn how to meet people in your profession and look for jobs
- improve your CV and cover letters to introduce yourself to employers
- learn skills for job interviews
- understand the culture of New Zealand workplaces
- learn about support services for migrants in New Zealand.
Career Services also run workshops for migrants, including job search and interview skill workshops. Call our Advice Line on 0800 222 733 for more information on workshops in your area.
